New Features:

A basic version of the Windows installer (Setup) Program is included to improve installation processes.

A built in RSS reader. This is a basic RSS reader that will be enhanced based on user input. To use it, simply enter any RSS feed XML URL and press the Go button. Right clicking on the topic will show you the options. Instructions have not been built into this test version yet and are in progress.

Normal Features:

The NavCaster WebScanner paid for version supports about 60 different traffic channels as compared to the demo version, but this version still does not support the adult oriented channels.

Operating Notes:

When the RSS Reader is Launched (and you can launch multiple!) the NavCaster Internet Reader and WebScanner interface is minimized. This is normal. It may take 20 or 30 seconds for the RSS Reader to load on some systems.

Installation instructions:

1) Unzip the ZIP archive file into a folder on your computer and;

2) Run the application named Setup.exe. This will install an icon on your desktop and an entry in the Programs menu named NavCaster. You may then click the icon and launch NavCaster.

THE NAVCASTER.COM RSS FEED:

The default RSS / XML feed to use can be:

http://www.navcaster.com/rss/index.xml

where we will update news and update information about NavCaster and TrafficCentral.

Enter the above URL into the RSS Reader and press the green Go button.


DOWNLOAD INSTRUCTIONS:
